PowerPC Processor Card based on Xilinx Virtex5 - PU10

The PU10-Card is designed to run Real Time applications as:

• Security

The PCIe interface can transfer large amount of data within a short time range.
Additional interfaces for e.g. Analog-digital Conversion (ADC and DAC) can be integrated via the FMC extension slot on the backside of the card.

• PCIe connector for one Lane
• FMC-LPC connector (VITA57 FMC high density I/O)

Our delivery comprises:

• PU10 PowerPC processor card
• Board Support Package (BSP) based on Linux 2.3
• Linux driver set to the PU10 card in your host PC system

Due to the Xenomai kernel patch the Linux of the BSP allows interrupt latencies < 30 µs.

*To develop your own FPGA designs an additional Xilinx design system is required. The VIRTEX-5 XC5VFX30T FPGA is supported by the free software WebPack ISE. Software development requires Xilinx-SDK and Xilinx-EDK. Further information is available on www.xilinx.com.
