Is your PCB no longer up to the standard, and do you want it to be adjusted to a new technology (RoHS, SMD)?

abaxor engineering designs your circuit with new ICs. Yet, such a re-development is always a chance for enhancement. The new module will include improved features like

  • new ICs as a substitute for discontinued components
  • lower power consumption
  • less space required, providing room for new interfaces
  • adaptation to new standards and regulations (RoHS)
  • cost-saving production due to new technologies (SMT)

Our redesign includes the circuit design and, if desired, the organization of the production. You obtain a well documented circuit and PCB.

If modules featuring analog ICs like operational amplifiers have to be re-developed, we will analyze transfer function and specified time, and reproduce the circuit using available components.
The same goes for digital circuits. Circuits with numerous discrete ICs might often be replaced by FPGAs or CPLDs. Virtually all digital functions can be realized with programmable logic. In case an ASIC must be replaced, FPGAs are the first choice anyhow; digital functions are directly provided by the FBGA. As for analog functions of the ASIC, we design the analog peripherals to the FPGA. You will get a configuration of FPGA and analog components that is compatible to the ASIC.
